Volunteer Roles
We offer a variety of roles, from one-time event help to ongoing committee work. Whether you have a green thumb, a flair for organizing, or just a few hours to spare, there’s a place for you on our team. Here’s a look at some of the ways you can get involved:
Event Support: Help bring our signature happenings to life — from the seasonal festivals to community cleanups. Tasks may include setup and teardown, vendor assistance, guest check-in, and more.
Communications & Marketing: Spread the word about downtown events and programs. Volunteers help with distributing flyers, managing social media, photography, and writing content for newsletters or our website.
Beautification: Join a crew dedicated to keeping downtown Beaverton beautiful. Activities include planting flowers, painting murals, cleaning up litter, and maintaining public spaces.
Committee Participation: Work alongside board members and staff on committees focused on design, economic vitality, outreach, promotions, and more. This is a fantastic way to gain leadership experience and help guide the organization’s direction.
Special Projects: From public art installations to historical research, there’s always something new on the horizon that needs creative volunteers.
Once you’re matched with a role, you’ll get any necessary training and support to ensure you feel confident and valued from your very first day.
