Meet Beverly the Beaver

Long before Downtown Beaverton became the vibrant, creative, food-filled community it is today, there was a curious little beaver named Beverly.

Legend says Beverly wandered into downtown looking for the perfect place to build her lodge. Instead, she found something even better: amazing small businesses, kind people, hidden art, sweet treats, live music, and tiny moments of magic tucked into every corner.

Beverly quickly became obsessed with collecting tiny treasures, shiny trinkets, doodads, and meaningful little objects left behind by the community. Rather than keeping them all to herself, she decided to hide them throughout Downtown Beaverton for others to discover.

Now, Beverly spends her days sneaking around downtown, visiting local businesses, sipping boba, sharing pastries, listening to music at the Commons, and expanding her famous Trinket Trail.

The Beverly the Beaver Trinket Trail is a community treasure hunt featuring tiny trinket exchange spots hidden throughout Downtown Beaverton. Visitors are encouraged to explore downtown, discover local businesses, take a trinket, leave one behind if they’d like, and help keep Beverly’s adventures going.

Because according to Beverly, the best communities are built one tiny treasure, one small business, and one shared moment at a time.
