Fill the Gap: Beaverton Food Drive

beaverton downtown association food drive

In response to the recent SNAP suspension, the Beaverton Downtown Association—alongside the Mayor, City Council, City of Beaverton, and Beaverton Police Department—is launching a citywide food drive to support families in urgent need.

All donations will benefit the Beaverton Resource Center’s Care to Share Food Pantry Network and their Bridge to Pantry program, which provides same-day food support for families unable to wait for pantry appointments. With appointments booked out through mid-November and beyond, our community’s help is needed now more than ever.

We’re asking residents, visitors, and local businesses to join us in this collective effort to Fill the Gap and ensure every family in Beaverton has food on the table.

Most Needed Items

  • Canned proteins (chicken, tuna, chili, beans)
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Cereal and oatmeal
  • Pasta, rice, and boxed mac & cheese
  • Shelf-stable milk, soups, and stews
  • Fresh fruit (apples, oranges) and refrigerated items like cheese, eggs, and butter — accepted on the last day only

You can drop off donations at one of our Downtown Beaverton partner businesses participating as collection sites.

Together, we can Fill the Gap and keep Beaverton families nourished and supported.
