The Trolls like to play games, have fun, and rock out to their favorite jukebox hits, but what will they do when the monstrous, troll-eating Bergens attack? What about when Queen Barb tries to steal their magic lyre string? Inspired by the hit film series, this NWCT Explore Camp combines adventures, imaginative world-building, and roleplay to immerse students in theater. An informal demonstration will occur during the last 15 minutes of the final day of camp. Ages 6 – 9 yrs 9 AM – 12 PM

Pet detectives, on the case! Follow your animal instincts as you search for lost poodles and skittish kittens. You’ll need to solve a whole zoo of animal cases in this NWCT Explore Camp. Are you ready? Explore Camps combine adventures, imaginative world-building, and role-playing to immerse students in theater. Join the ultimate heist with The Bad Guys! Enter the wild and hilarious world of Wolf, Snake, and their misfit crew of bad guys trying to go good. This performance camp brings their daring schemes to life as they search high and low for redemption. Get ready to unleash your inner villain-turned-hero! Performance Camps are all about putting on a play or musical. Students audition, rehearse, and perform. Families and friends are invited to the final performance held on the last day of camp. Ages 8 – 11 yrs 9 AM – 4 PM

Practically perfect in every way! When Jane and Michael need a new nanny, it’s up to Mary Poppins to make things right with the Banks family. Get ready to audition, rehearse, and dance like a penguin in this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious production! Everyone gets a part in this NWCT musical performance camp. Performance Camps are all about putting on a play or musical. Students audition, rehearse, and perform. Families and friends are invited to the final performance held on the last day of camp. Ages 10 – 14 yrs 9 AM – 4 PM

“5, 6, 7, 8!” It’s time to put on your dance shoes and build the skills you need to be a true triple threat. Broadway Boot Camp is the perfect starting point for any student interested in exploring musical theater performance. We will tackle voice, acting, and dance in this week-long “Boot Camp” intensive. Ages 8 – 12 yrs 9 AM – 4 PM

Kids participate with OMSI staff in experiments that vividly demonstrate the predictable (and sometimes unpredictable!) reactions of matter, including some that have explosive results. Topics include nature of chemical reactions, physical vs chemical changes, and safety. Grades K-8.

Pride Beaverton’s Volunteer Kickoff is almost here! We’re teaming up with Central Station Taps to celebrate the volunteers who make Pride in the Park possible — and to welcome anyone curious about getting involved this year. Anchored by the 30th anniversary performance of Robert Seeley’s groundbreaking “Naked Man,” this concert honors the stories that have shaped generations—from the fight for visibility and justice, to the grief and strength forged in the AIDS crisis, to the ongoing journey toward equality and affirmation. Featuring works commissioned by GALA choruses across the country, Legacies is more than a concert—it’s a living archive of struggle, triumph, and the enduring power of song to carry our history forward.
