In this class, you’ll learn a variety of party dances, explore elements of popping, develop tools for freestyling, and practice choreography. Come ready to learn, have fun, and explore! Inspired by the hit film series, this NWCT Explore Camp combines adventures, imaginative world-building, and roleplay to immerse students in theater. Are you ready? Explore Camps combine adventures, imaginative world-building, and role-playing to immerse students in theater. This performance camp brings their daring schemes to life as they search high and low for redemption. Get ready to unleash your inner villain-turned-hero! Performance Camps are all about putting on a play or musical. Students audition, rehearse, and perform. Families and friends are invited to the final performance held on the last day of camp. Ages 8 – 11 yrs 9 AM – 4 PM

“5, 6, 7, 8!” It’s time to put on your dance shoes and build the skills you need to be a true triple threat. Broadway Boot Camp is the perfect starting point for any student interested in exploring musical theater performance. We will tackle voice, acting, and dance in this week-long “Boot Camp” intensive. Ages 8 – 12 yrs 9 AM – 4 PM

Join us at Family Storytime for books, movement, and music. There will also be crafts and fun activities—all free! 1st Street Dining Commons is located one block of SW 1st Street, between SW Watson Ave and SW Washington Ave.

Kids participate with OMSI staff in experiments that vividly demonstrate the predictable (and sometimes unpredictable!) reactions of matter, including some that have explosive results. Topics include nature of chemical reactions, physical vs chemical changes, and safety. Grades K-8.
