We’re proud to launch the Daily Essentials Challenge a community-wide effort to collect urgently needed items for HomePlate Youth Services, supporting youth experiencing housing instability right here in our community.
From May 18 – May 31, downtown businesses are coming together- and competing to see who can collect the most essential items for Homeplate Youth Services.
How you can help:
Visit any participating business and drop off new, unused items:
- Travel-size shampoo & conditioner
- Body wash & soap
- Toothpaste & toothbrushes
- Deodorant
- Feminine hygiene products
- Flossers
- Rain jackets (new or gently used)
Every donation goes directly to youth in need- and helps your favorite business climb the leaderboard.
Participating Businesses:
• Fresh Start Detail • Raindrop Taphouse
• Holistic Health Clinic • Lazy Days Brewing Co.
• Ome Calli Frozen Treats • Beaverton Pharmacy
• La Floridita PDX • Michelle Bauer Photography
• Ranch Pizza • Loro Coffee
• Binary Brewing Co. • Sylvan Learning of Beaverton
• Tan Tan Cafe • Global Art of Dance
What’s at stake?
The business that collects the most donations will receive $500 in marketing and promotional support from the Beaverton Downtown Association.
This is more than a competition- it’s a chance for our community to show up in a meaningful way.
Call to Action:
Choose a business. Drop off items. Make an impact.
Together, we can make sure every young person has access to the essentials they need.
