National Night Out

National Night Out Rescheduled for Tuesday, September 22
Due to the high heat forecasted for August 4, along with unhealthy air quality levels caused by wildfire smoke, the City of Beaverton made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s National Night Out event at Evelyn Schiffler Memorial Park. The safety of our community is our top priority, and the conditions posed potential health risks for attendees, volunteers, and staff. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.
We are happy to share that the event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2026, and we hope you’ll join us for an evening of community connection and fun.
National Night Out is designed to bring law enforcement and the community together, and it remains one of our favorite annual opportunities to strengthen neighborhood spirit and build positive relationships. Millions of neighbors across the country participate in these events each year, celebrating local partnerships between residents, businesses, first responders, and city officials.
