August Creative Mingle | Tualatin Valley Creates

Tualatin Valley Creates August 14 Creative Mingle Networking Event and Artist Pop-Up Market. Pastelli Pop-Up Chalk Art, at First Street Common, Downtown Beaverton, co-hosted by The Beaverton Downtown Association
Tualatin Valley Creates (TVC) offers monthly networking events designed to be a casual way for creatives to connect. Participate in conversations with other local creatives and learn about the new programs and opportunities for artists of all modalities and businesses in Washington County.
Each TVC Networking Mingle begins with a welcoming round of introductions, giving attendees the opportunity to share their creative background, current projects, and interests. Participants will also learn about upcoming opportunities, programs, and resources available through TVC and from our event co-host, the Beaverton Downtown Association.
The Mingle provides a valuable space for creatives to connect with peers across disciplines, exchange ideas and ask questions, and build meaningful professional relationships within Washington County’s creative community.
In August, the TVC Networking Mingle will take place in Downtown Beaverton’s 1st Street Commons, located on 1st Street between Washington and Watson. Attendees can enjoy an evening of networking while experiencing a vibrant atmosphere of the Commons, including live music from musician and TVC Board Member Bill Hernandez, Artists Pop-Up Market, Chalk Art, and local restaurants.
The Artist Pop-Up Market will be open from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will feature local artists showcasing and selling their work. This event provides an opportunity for the community to support local creatives and discover unique handcrafted art.
The August Mingle will bring Pastelli Pop-Ups, a live chalk-art activation at First Street Commons from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Watch a talented chalk artist transform the pavement into vibrant works of art, bringing color, creativity, and imagination to downtown Beaverton. Visitors can stroll through the Commons, meet the artists, learn about the chalk-art process, and witness the magic unfold in real time. This one-of-a-kind experience celebrates the creativity of our local arts community and showcases the temporary, evolving nature of chalk art.
