Kamil is a first generation Pakistani-American that joined the BDA in 2022. Kamil's professional background is in refugee migration and he has spent the last 8 years working with the world's most vulnerable citizenry.
Kamil has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Indiana University at Bloomington and is passionate about community building and equitable development.
In his free time, he enjoys writing poetry, making music, and playing basketball.
Kirsten Agard is a VP, Home Lending Manager at Umpqua Bank. She joined the Board in 2019 and has been Board Chair of the BDA since January 2020. Kirsten is passionate about preserving the downtown area and serving local businesses.
Nicole Feightner works in Human Resources at Nike and has lived in the Beaverton area since 2014. Nicole joined the BDA in the spring of 2019 helping behind the scenes with events such as the Wine Walk and BOOverton before joining the Organization Committee later that fall. Nicole helped lead the strategic planning workshop in January 2020 and led the Organization Committee through 2021.
Carina owns Carina’s Bakery on 1st Street and has been a Board member since March 2021. In addition to her business expertise, Carina brings a compassionate focus on equity, especially regarding disability and accessibility.
Felicia is the VP of Home Lending Accounting at Umpqua Bank. Felicia brings attention to detail and expert financial knowledge to her role as Treasurer, which she has filled since April 2021.
Joanne is the Founder and CEO of Winehaus Digital in downtown Beaverton. She joined the Board in May 2021. Her leadership and extensive experience in business-to-business relations and marketing are a welcome addition to our team.
Mark is a retiree living in Downtown Beaverton. He spent 30 years in the high tech industry at Intel, Sequent Computer and RadiSys, and 10 years at a non-profit, Elders in Action. Mark is passionate about Beaverton being a great place to live, work, and play for people of all ages, abilities, and cultures.
Zachary became our Design Committee Chair in June 2021 after interning with us for a full year and then completing his Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University. Zachary brings creativity and a passion for healthy cities to this role.
Chanel works with Westland Investors as the Asset and Business Development Manager. She has over 10 years professional experience in operations and business development space in both investment real estate and the music industry, and she is passionate about community impact and uplifting small businesses through partnership, cultivating activations, and promotion.
Daniel is a student at Mountain High School and joined the BDA Board of Directors in January 2021 as our designated Youth Representative. Daniel is very civically-engaged, having supported recent political campaigns and advocacy efforts.
Rachel is a City of Beaverton employee in the Economic Development Department. As a non-voting Board member, Rachel represents the City and acts as our liaison into the City government. Rachel previously managed a downtown district in New York before starting her current role with the City of Beaverton.
