Whether you are stopping by after work\, meeting up with neighbors\, or exploring downtown for the evening\, Downtown Sounds is the perfect way to relax and enjoy local music in a welcoming outdoor atmosphere. \nBe sure to come hungry! SUMMARY:Homeplate Art Showcase - Beaverton Youth
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of art\, community\, and impact at the HomePlate Youth Art Show\, featuring original artwork created by youth served by HomePlate Youth Services. \nHomePlate supports youth ages 12–24 experiencing homelessness\, housing instability\, and other life challenges across Washington County. Many of the young people they serve are navigating trauma\, family instability\, food insecurity\, and barriers to housing\, employment\, and education. Through drop-in centers and outreach services\, HomePlate provides meals\, showers\, clothing\, hygiene supplies\, case management\, housing support\, and most importantly\, a safe and judgment-free community where youth can feel seen\, supported\, and valued. \nThis special event gives these young artists a platform to share their creativity\, tell their stories\, and connect with the community in a meaningful way. \n100% of ticket sales will go directly to HomePlate Youth Services\, helping support local youth experiencing instability and homelessness. In addition\, every artist keeps 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork. \nCome enjoy an inspiring evening filled with: \n• Original artwork from talented local youth \n• Beer and wine available for purchase from Lionheart Coffee Co. \n• Specialty drinks available from Fly Chai• Food available for purchase from Teriyakimoto \n• Community connection and the opportunity to directly support youth in our community \nEvery ticket purchased helps provide essential resources\, stability\, and hope for youth in Washington County. \nTogether\, we can show these young people that their community believes in them.
